La Chingada is the ranch of Mexico's former president (2018 -
2024),
Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Located at
284 km north of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the
Chiapas State Capital. The ranch is close to the entrance of the
municipal head of Palenque, a Chiapas Municipality.
The house has a modest facade, without any luxury, with a black gate. It is an
approximate area of three hectares, where you can see a lagoon and a rustic road guided
by coconut palm trees that leads to a house made of concrete with a green roof, in the
middle of a wooded area.
But this is just one of the Palenque's tourist attractions! Of mayan
origin, it is a city located close to the Usumacinta river, and
it's main attraction is the Palenque's archaeological area. A
few kilometers away you can also find the Agua Clara ecotouristic
center, some popular waterfalls (Misol-Ha and
Agua Azul) and the Chacamax
(Nututun) river.
